This is the ministry charged with the responsibility of prayer and intercession for the church, and mobilizing the church to pray. Intercessory prayer is done for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another’s case. Prayer is not just saying words to an unreachable God, but its spending intimate time with the Father, learning His wisdom, drawing from His strength, being filled with His quiet presence and basking in His love. The ministry is open to any member of the church with a burden for prayer and intercession. The ministry organizes prayer retreats, overnight prayer vigils, prayer seminars, weekly prayer meetings, prayer walks and prayer drives.
